Nikie is the owner and founder of My Awesome Life Ltd, through which she now guides, teaches, and supports others in changing their ‘traditional’ thinking habits through proven journaling processes, online programs, live events, and books.
Nikie has first-hand experience at creating her life with her thoughts and the power of intention. Rising from the depths of depression, twice being made redundant from a job she loved and separating from her husband of 24 years. It took all her positive thinking, mental fitness, and positive action to climb out of £60,000 worth of outstanding debt and to rise from earning less than £400 a month and relying on friends to support her. Throughout this time Nikie started to journal and born out of frustration with not being able to find anything on the market that fulfilled her journaling needs, Nikie created her own range using her stunning gift in photography.

Q&A with Dawn Britnell - coach, rider & mum to 5* Eventer David Dawn’s non-horsey parents indulged her with riding lessons aged 8 and she was hooked on the smell, the sound and everything about horses. Now Dawn is an aged coach who competed to Foxhunter, Intermediate and PSG, married her first proper boyfriend, produced a falconer and 5* eventer (David - the only person to do Badminton Grass Roots and 5* on the same horse) and still loves coaching every day (though she would love it not to hurt her arthritic fingers in the winter). Dawn’s specialist subjects are happy long lasting horses, correct feeling thinking riders, lifelong learning, procrastination and chocolate!
